kindle /wi-fi connect

trying to put my wi-fi pasword from router onto kindle to connect it , it consists of 25 digits though and it sems to only let me put in 24, sorry if i sound a bit dim or am missing something when i do this ? any suggestions what i'm doing wrong

  • Which Kindle are you using? The K3 text input box displays 36 characters then looks like it has run out of space (it over-writes the last character with a "*") but it can take a full 64 character WPA2 password as far as I know.
    I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.

    I can confirm that my Kindle 3 accepted a wifi password of much more than that. I'm not sure what you're doing wrong, but at least now you know it can be done.

    Also beware that for Kindle 3 at least if the first character is uppercase, when you type the second character, it automatically will be in lowercase.
    Hoping this year is better than the last. :)
  • Of course, you could always change your wifi password.

    thanks for helpful replies, ( i persevered with putting small case characters in , last two seemed to print as **but eventually got connected ).
