kindle /wi-fi connect

trying to put my wi-fi pasword from router onto kindle to connect it , it consists of 25 digits though and it sems to only let me put in 24, sorry if i sound a bit dim or am missing something when i do this ? any suggestions what i'm doing wrong

Which Kindle are you using? The K3 text input box displays 36 characters then looks like it has run out of space (it over-writes the last character with a "*") but it can take a full 64 character WPA2 password as far as I know.

I can confirm that my Kindle 3 accepted a wifi password of much more than that. I'm not sure what you're doing wrong, but at least now you know it can be done.

Also beware that for Kindle 3 at least if the first character is uppercase, when you type the second character, it automatically will be in lowercase.

Of course, you could always change your wifi password.

thanks for helpful replies, ( i persevered with putting small case characters in , last two seemed to print as **but eventually got connected ).
