Surely that is only something you can explain?
Why do you want to work for this company?
What do you like about the role?
Where do you want to be in the future?"No likey no need to hit thanks button!":pHowever its always nice to be thanked if you feel mine and other people's posts here offer great advice:D So hit the button if you likey:rotfl:0 -
What qualities can you bring to the job ?0

We have no idea. What ARE your motivations for applying for that job?If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

I was merely asking what kind of questions may be raised during the interview. I dont anticipate them saying "what is your motivation for this job? - 30 minute explanation please".
Thanks to all those above though, it is appreciated.0 -
Questions along these lines would trip me up as someone with Aspergers. They're obviously just a measure of social compliance. The biggest Walter Mitty wins and gets the job.Wanted a job, now have one. :beer:0

I was merely pointing out that you might want to actually think about your motivations for the job if that's the basis of the interview.
We have no idea what they will ask, so it's pretty pointless preparing for questions suggested by people who don't know what the job will entail or who it is for.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
Hopefully you are genuinely motivated to do the job, I think so long as you can communicate well then you just need to have a think about why you have chosen this kind of work, would enjoy it etc and then relay that during the interview. If you don't know why you are motivated to do the job that suggests that maybe it's not your ideal career choice? Is that true and you're just applying for it to get a foothold somewhere?0

I am genuinely motivated for the this job as its one of the ones i earmarked as one that i would love to get. I've never had a proper interview or telephone interview so im just a bit nervous and don't know what to really expect from an interview.
Sorry to bother everyone.0 -

Hmmm....I have this great site where you can get some good interview questions. It's called How to Prepare for an Interview: Institute for Coaching. I would post the link for you, but it won't let me cause I'm new.0
