It will be a present for the wife - who does not want an expensive camera,
just something small, waterproof would be good that can also record good films.

I don't know either particular model but, in my experience, only Canon beat Fuji in compact quality and no-one beats them for value for money.

Unless you really need the waterproofing, though, there are better available.

Try the AX350 - a terrific wee compact - on Amazon for £65.
