The Book People are NOT a book club, they simply sell a limited/varying number of books at discount prices. They are great for children's books especially box sets.

Have used the lots of times. Also Redhouse and Schoollink are good to try.

sorry for sounding thick then, does it mean I can just buy this one book and nothing else
  • absolutely.... they will put you on their mailing llist, and you may be tempted in the future, but there is no need to buy anything ever again.

PS onthe website today, they are saying 'free gift with every order' - seems to be an angelina ballerina book. could be for the pressie box?
  • My wife bought the book (at full price ???), and it is a pretty good reference to growing all veg + edable flowers (?). It covers pretty much everything in the TV series. One dissappointing thing for me was that it did not include instructions on how to gather seed from the different plant. IMO it's pretty much a basic book but covers all start up things such as soil types/ testing/ improving, then breaks down all veg into catogories, with about a page for each, with advice on growing. This is a bit rushed cus i got to go and pick up daugther from MIL's. So any specific questions about the book then i will check back tomorrow.
