in Credit cards
Hi All
I left BarclayCard 6 or 7 years ago after getting tired of their 'service'. My Egg World card then got moved to them barely a few weeks ago and I am already sick of them again. I have the one with cash back, a rare thing these days so I thought I would just stick with them. I can't do it though I have decided after today's events. I've got to keep it until March tho and just not use it to get the cash back I've earned this year annoyingly (quite a bit as I got married and purposely paid with it for a lot of things this year!).
I don't borrow on a credit card. It is for shopping online safely with the bonus of earning cash back. It is paid off in full every month. So keeping in mind I know I'm not going to get the same deal on cash back (Santander's wouldn't earn me much the way I spend, I have looked around
), here is my 'wish list'
- Online secure messaging for account queries
- A call centre at home in the UK for the emergencies when I do have to call them
- Recommendations from you lot based on good customer service! (I love a bit of good customer service
)
- Any kind of rewards are a bonus (something better than nothing I guess) but not a requirement. I'm happy to just be a happy customer.
Thank you all

Perhaps you could elaborate what today's events are?
There are cards out there with cashback but you will have to have a decent salary and very good credit rating.0 -
American Express Platinum Cashback would be my recommendation - they have online secure messaging, a UK call centre (in Brighton), and very good customer service. Keep the Barclaycard as a backup for where Amex isn't taken though!0
