Very quiet in here today! What's wrong with you lot - are you's all hungover...? :)

My hangover is starting to kick in now. I got home at 2am after partying all night then up at 5am because of Billy Wind, by he hasn't half showed himself up the past few days! Once I'm up I can't get back to sleep so I'm now very tired but hardcore! :D

Time for some more online shopping... :)

All this exposezzzz does not do any good to any of us cottage industry me think supermarket will clamp down:(:(

"Another man had a garage containing 10,000 groceries – including frozen chickens, cheese, deodorants and shower gel – worth a total of £48,200. But the haul had cost him just £643 thanks to his coupon collection."

I wonder is that Heslan? If yes, Good on you.

As long as the report are focusing on Londoners, me not care - they can have all the glory just don't come to my area:eek: ;)

I wonder will the supermarket mark them now:eek: as me think it will backfire on them.

I wonder how long it will take the women who travelled to NY to recoup those costs. Perhaps I'm missing a trick, but if there are signifianct differences between effective couponing in the US and UK (which there are) why would you travel to a US seminar?

She only told half the story Kerri. We know US using coupons are unlimited. Over here using more than 10 coupons for the same products we get CA buzzz for the CS then buzz for the manager:rotfl:

  • Yeah it was me who contributed to the article. Nothing huge though it was just a short bit in the actual article. Why do you think supermarkets will clamp down on them? They get the money back from the companies who distribute them. I feel a little bit crap now for giving comments for the article and I was so excited about it this morning, now reading that people feel it might make supermarkets clamp down, i feel rather idiotic. :/ x

Goals: Save £500 for emergencies, Save £200 of Amazon vouchers for Xmas, fix my holey clothes!

Don't feel crap hollie you intended no harm*hug*And it is exciting to contribute to something in the media!
I guess some of us are just concerened that, given supermarkets current attitudes to coupons, anything that highlights the tricks, uch as buying 100 of an item, could backfire on us.Most of us tend to try to fly under tha radar to avoid being embarassed and trouted or having coupons stopped altogether
On the flipside though maybe if more people start using them supermarkets will have to give in to public demand. So maybe this is a good thing.Something I can't really make my mid up on.
