Merry Christmas all....just leaving for my daughter's house...got huge pile of prezzies waiting to be ripped open by my grandchildren....hubby has bought me 2 charms for my Pandora bracelet, a silver aeroplane and silver suitcase, he got them on the BA flight from Phoenix...I knew already as I had seen the credit card statement last month, so I had to act very surprised...my granddaughter has been so jealous of my bracelet, and I have one for her ,all wrapped very prettily and tied up in ribbon by the store in the US...she thinks I have got her a camera....can't wait to see her face....time to go now as hubby is chuntering.....have a great day everyone and I hope you all have lots of nice prezzies.....the turkey awaits....bye!

Merry Christmas Everybody - hope you're all having a wonderful day. Our turkey is in the oven (we don't eat until later in the day) table is laid, house is spik and span and I have a lovely cold beer as a reward.

Resisting all the sales that have started online already :A

Oh, and already had an early xmas present, a £10 APG womble from yesterday - so I actually made money when I went shopping :j:j:j

Big hugs to anyone under the weather, hope you're still able to enjoy today xxx

Hope you all remember to go wombling while your doing your last minute shopping.

DS got a load of receipts this morning at asda and of the 6 we have done so far, 1 was worthless, but one was for £8.88. Total of the 5 receipts we have put through the apg - just over £19.00.

Well pleased, and will try the rest tomorrow if I get a chance.

BLUEWKD, MT, DrWW, Aesop, CW and now kerri . and have I seen Raven and (is it ??) CouponMad making similar posts somewhere ?

I ALSO had an early :xmastree: CHRISTMAS PRESENT :xmastree:

Last night I found a receipt in a trolley right outside the main entrance about 20 minutes before the closing time for Christmas Eve of 19:00.
Hoped it might be a good'un since it totalled £291
(although having said that I've had £200+ ones generate APG's of nothing or just a few pence BUT much smaller ones of about £50 offer back £10)

It had potentially been in there (although the trolley probably moved) for about FOUR AND A HALF HOURS  given the transaction time of 14:05

    Anyway tried it this morning and ... :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

MY BEST ONE SO FAR (beating £11.53 of just 10 days ago)

    £16.96 :rotfl: £16.96 :rotfl: £16.96 :rotfl:

    Thank you ASDA .......

    ... actually that's a BIG THANKS to the :T ANONYMOUS :T DONOR :T :rotfl:

(Hope you don't need to take back the Dress, Pyjamas, Skirt or either of the Headphones) :D

and  ASDA  for facilitating the offer :xmassign: :xmassign:

The oldest receipt i had was a few months ago, i saw the date had january on!. january 2011 just after the new year, so no idea where that receipt had been hiding!. it was expired too, :(

I was on asda/george website, and saw this

    http://georgestyle.george.com/2011/12/9/george-lingerie-models-surprise-london-shoppers#comments

Women in underwear, near london eye. hmmp, they are suppose to be showing what underwear men can buy their wifes and girlfriends for xmas!.

I hate to be bitter, but they have picked slim ladies, , what a load of twoddle!. Big word for today is twoddle :D

Most people here are not so slim as they are. I'm going to go on dragons den with a idea for normal sized people :p and do some dumbo video of people walking like they are tying their legs in knots :rotfl:

Xmas dinner was fine, but the only problem is, there is a plastic bowl in the fridge now full of sprouts, every body ate theres, just went a bit overboard with them :D
