WHY ?

THIS POST (the one I'm making now) is number #1657

1657 / 40 = 41.425

So we are on page 42 - that 41 pages full of 40 posts = 1640

and a further 17 posts on page 42

Page 43 will come into being AFTER 42 x 40 = 1680 have been posted and the 1681st is made

Are you viewing the thread in a NON LINEAR mode ?

You have LINEAR - NEWEST FIRST

Change it to LINEAR - OLDEST FIRST

And then SAVE CHANGES at the bottom

THEN EVERYTHING WILL MAKE SENSE :j

:doh: of course! I changed my settings so I always see the newest post first. Rather than having to go to the end of the thread to look for new posts.

OR alternatively :-

Click on your "Friends" list on the lefthand side.
Click their name
Click "subscribed" on the top righthand side
Click/unchecked "Photos"
Click/unchecked "comments & Likes"

then hit backspace key to go back to your list of friends & repeat the above till you have done it for all your friends on your FB account.
