Been to a birthday party and then we're taking FB back. It's been lovely having her.
Glad you dad is doing ok Dr - he's doing well considering his age. I don't know how old he is but if you are 101........;)

well Doc's dad must be at least 220 if he started young.

BT, how does this 40 posts a page thing work then?

earlier everything was showing as 39, and it seems to push down older posts? when does it actually hit 40 posts?

Maths not your strong point ? :rotfl:

1 x 40 = 40
2 x 40 = 80
3 x 40 = 120
4 x 40 = ..................

You get the idea

So in reverse

160 / 40 = 4
120 / 40 = 3
80 / 40 = 2

etc. etc.

NOW, I don't know about you but your last post (the one quoted] is #1647

and on my 40 per page setup I'm on PAGE 42

that's 1647 / 40 = 41.nnnnnnn

So there's 41 pages of 40 posts and 7 posts (8 when I hit Submit Reply) on PAGE 42

Don't know how anyone can have less .... UNLESS it's something to do with having an IGNORE LIST ?

but does a Deleted post have a thread post # number ? (even if it isn't displayed)

They seem to have ONLY 39 pages - I'm on 42

maths is not my strong point

but I swear earlier, I manually counted the posts, then took the first post number on the page away from the last post number, and it was only coming to 39, so I would post, and it still remained 39! It was like the last post was getting pushed down to another page!

it was weird! currently on page 42 now BUT have counted 40 posts, so this post should make page 43.... let's see.
