Mine is set to 39 too, like Doc, BT.
Hey Doc, nice to see you again. Hope your family spoilt you rotten.
Did you get the mcvities code?0 -
I missed my flight last thursday because of M25:mad::mad::mad::mad: the idiot open the wrong lane!!! They open the opposite side of the road:eek::eek::eek: coming out of heathrow & we the victims have to travel 4/mph to the airport took OH 1hr45mins to reach 20 miiles.
At first, I was told that there is nothing they can do & suggested that I look for another airline but there were no more flight out of heathrow for me from most of the ailine. Then they said I cannot buy another ticket for my connecting flight in Amsterdam:eek: & the only refund I get back it the airport tax:eek::eek:.
To be fair the staff were very helpful, then next available flight out is on the 19th Dec from them & it cost 1000 pound (this keyboard does not have pound sterling - bloody foreign lappy:D)
after half an hour I got a call from the airline staff asking me whether I am still in the airport - me said yes - she said she can put us on standby:j:j:j:j me said ok:D and me got on the next available flight to amsterdam to catch me connecting flight in the evening. Phew!!!! thought I loss my airfare as well as not able to visit me dad.
The motto is guys always be polite to airline staff - they will try their best to help you if you stay calm & not having a go at them - they are not Tesco trout:rotfl:RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -

yep me watched enough Airport to know the staff can be helpful and nice, when you are not shouting, swearing and being rude to them.
I missed my seat for coming back from Paris about 7 years ago, and was stood at the airport, thinking now what? The staff came upto me and said wait, wait, and then they put me on the plane in 1st class! Not that I was bothered! I was too busy crying!
Glad you managed to make it though Doc.0 -

great xmas pressie for Blue, she loves chocolate
I went shopping today, had voucher for £5 off at bhs, and wanted to get DS a big truck I had seen last week. Didn't have voucher last week, and got there today, no trucksall gone.
Did see a bob the builder type workbench which DS wants anyway, so that will go with rest of pressies - hard hat and tools , chocolate tools and toolbox.
But it was £15 - they had reduced it! so wanted to use voucher, me being like that.... saw a dvd that DH would like, would work out at £5 with voucher, methinks.
gets to till, looking for DS as he is being naughty, lady says, you have only spent £22.50. Hey :T what is reduced I say? DVD she says! So I picked up half price wrapping paper for free. So paid 50p for 2 rolls :T
saw a lovely fleece dressing gown, debating to go back tomorrow and see if it is further reduced.... can be pressie from DH for me.0 -
