Great news! ASDA are cheapest. However, ASDA are not 10% cheaper than Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Waitrose, on your comparable grocery shopping. As such you are entitled to a voucher for £0.21.

I got 21p back? Now the above I wasn't expecting anything back and I just don't understand which shop they are comparing that I got 24p back:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi DrWW - I had a quick look and can't see where anyone has answered your query - so I'll do it :)

No, ASDA APG has not gone BARMY ! SADLY IT'S YOU :rotfl:

I can see that you had clicked on "WHY 21p" where it explained it but obviously didn't see the reason.

OK - It was the comparison against TESCO that generated the APG of 21p

    The reason ?

From your post - the top comparison details, bottom line .....

Comparison total (compared products only)£3.98 £4.19

ASDA was CHEAPER at £3.98 by 21p
Tesco was £4.19 (for the compared products)

BUT ASDA WILL BE (Want to be) 10% CHEAPER - OR give you your money back

Buying these items AT Tesco WOULD HAVE COST £4.19

    10% LESS than £4.19 is 42p Cheaper = £3.77

ASDA charged you £3.98 - which is 21p MORE than £3.77

    Hence an APG for 21p

    QED :D

coke zone didnt remind me to log in to keep my points from expiring, then they emailed me asking me if i'd enjoyed my reward. I assume they thought my points going meant i'd ordered a gift!.

I don't drink coke anyway, but if i did, i wouldnt anymore :p

Did anyone watch the channel4 superscrimpers show last night?. it was much to do about nothing really, feed 8 for £50. They still left food on their plates, though her roast spuds did look a bit burnt:p :)

then the showed how to use leftovers from a turkey. we used to have lots left, problem solver is to just not buy a turkey :D

Oh and a woman made cheesey biscuits, which looked nice :A
