Web Domain Expiring

My website address is needing to be renewed next month.

Do i need to renew it with the company i am already with?

Or

If another company is offering better price per year can i renew it with them instead? If so how?

You would need to do a 'domain transfer' if you want to move it else where. Look it up on your new provider's web site and they should explain all

I have a single page display/hosting at the moment as the website is currently being built and no email accounts related!

Make sure you have backups of the whole (unfinished!) website, then look if your existing hosting site charges you to transfer it (indeed if they will allow you to, that will be in the very tiny print in your sign-up T&C's) Then check if new host charges much for transfer in (most don't 'cos they want your business, but then at the end of their cheapo offer they say aaah of course you can transfer it it will be £££ for admin charges)
