Play.com Error . Is this a dud ?

Hi,

I ordered a PC and monitor from play last week. They made an error and only shipped the base unit.

I ordered

The monitor we believe was

They have shipped by the looks of things from the delivery email

The second monitor is not widescreen. It appears to be VGA connection only. Is this a good monitor? Is there a big difference between DVI and VGA quality?

I currently use a Digimate 19inch which is okay, but ghosts when playing fast games.

I want a little bit of knowledge before my monitor turns up. Hopefully it will be the widescreen one.

Wait till it arrives and if you dont get the widescreen send it back, if you want the 4:3 screen then keep it if that is what you want.

They screwed up they fix it.

I know play usually ask you to send items back and the refund you the postage, as it is a large item I would tell them to send someone to collect it. as the postage to Jersey could be expensive. I dont know if you need to send electricals to Jersy but when I returned an incorect DVD I got it had to go back there.
