I am obviously ignorant, but WHAT is stoozing???

This question is asked regularly on this board. I can't put is as well as some of the "experts" can, but my best advice is to do what I did:

1/ Read the posts on this board for the last month or so (I think there has been increased activity of late, asking exactly the same question as you have).

2/ Read Martin's articles (left of the screen you are viewing now), especially the "balance transfer" articles.

    3/ Visit https://www.stoozing.com

If you've then got any specific questions, please post them on this board.

Don't go to stoozing.com as they seem to have lost all the content. It's been that way for weeks, don't know why they haven't repaired it yet.

    Read Martin's article instead.

In a nutshell it is borrowing money from credit cards at 0% and putting the money into savings accounts to make a profit.

    cindyhove,

it is unbeliveable that easy, :j I spent weeks asking questions on here about it and got much help and surport. I just couldn't get my head around how easy it was. :p

For me the the offset mortage looked best, so I first changed my bank account and mortgage to IF to take full advantage of the offset mortage then got an egg card (15K), this all completed end of Jan 05. SBT to old bank account as it was still open then BT to IF, could have gone straight to IF. Now have a C1 form @ 0% for 18 months and will send that off next month.

My aim is to slowly build up the stoozs pot.

Hi there. Stooz (on The Motley Fool) owns the https://www.stoozing.com domain and I wrote most of the content, which was based on my earlier Stoozing FAQ on the Motley Fool. Stooz and I have been updating it the site to improve the presentation and the content. Unfortunately Stooz is having a technical problem with the domain. However, all the original content and some more is currently available at

    http://www.gemnet.freeserve.co.uk

This will also give you a preview of the format of the new site. Hopefully you will think it is an improvement. Apologies for the problems on the stoozing.com

    Thanks for the update, Clariman.

I've had a quick browse and it looks good.
