Northern Rock Silver Savings Online rate increase (but not until 10/2)

According to Moneyfacts, Northern Rock is increasing the rate on its Silver Savings Online account from 5.46% AER to 5.70% AER - but not until 10/2!

A thought. The next MPC announcement is due Thurs 8/2. There is the possibility of another increase in the BOE rate which, if it happened, would occur before Northern Rock has even implemented the last increase.
Coincidence? Plenty of scope for 'losing' an increase there. :rolleyes:
