Letter box draught excluder

Options
Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help - we've just fitted a new letterbox which was larger than our previous one and we now need a new brush draught excluder. I can't find one big enough - they all seem to for an opening of about 45mm high and we need one about 75mm (length over 260mm).

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

If you cannot source something 'off the peg' then you might consider making something bespoke (assuming you have the time and inclination). You can get the part that will form the brushes by cutting down one of those draft excluders that attach to the bottom of doors. Might work.

Incidentally, a slot of 7.5cm is quite a size (might allow arm to access the private side of your door and unlock it...). Could a sealed collection box be an option (the kind you fit on the inside of the door - to catch mail? Might kill two birds with one stone.
