WPS or WCN?

Hi there
I would appreciate any help with selecting either WPS or WCN when setting up a new printer? I have talktalk wifi router for broadband and have Windows Vista 32 bit. I have looked up the meaning of these initials but not being in the least technical I am floundering and worried I might select the wrong one in my ignorance. i am in the process of installing a Canon MG5250 wireless printer. All is going ok and I'm following the lcd printer instructions until I am asked to select WPS or WCN during the installation /connection process. I am reluctant to insert the setup cd until I know what I'm doing!. Can anyone please advise me?

Hi pcombo,
thanks so much for your advice. I have checked the link to the website you suggested and they make it sound so easy to do. but I regret I do not have the technical know-how to try to follow this route. I must decide to go ahead with selecting either WPS OR WCN and at this moment I am feeling perhaps WPS might be the way to go but have nothing to b ase that feeling on. I just hope the talktalk HUAWEI will support it.
