am after password protecting a lot of files on my memory stick, was going ot download a free encryption program for my current pen drive, but read that you can only open docs on a PC with that software on it, not ideal for work The 'ready password enabled' USB drives you can buy, basically how do they work? Hi.
for what it's worth I have just bought an 8 gig sandisk cruzer blade for £4.99 delivered (amazon) and it comes with it's own built in encryption program, were you are asked for your p/w each time you use it before it let's you access anything on it.
