Hello everyone,
I'm not sure whether this is on the forum already, but I found out abut it recently and decided to let you all know.
I learned that people receiving DLA are entitled to a CEA card which gives free entry for a carer at the cinema. Thought it may be useful info for those who are not aware. Here is the link.
https://www.ceacard.co.uk
The card is valid for a year and costs £5.50.
Just applied for mine:j
Hope it's useful.
Good luck.

Use mine quite often. You would be better advised to go to your local cinema and see whether they accept it before getting one as they are not obliged to take it.
It would just save you a lot of hassle if they don't.0 -
Here is the link for participating cinema chains. You can also find out if your local ones are taking part:)

I have one for when I go to the cinema with my husband (he's my carer). It really does come in useful. Going to the cinema is one of my few "leisure" trips out and it really make sit more affordable.2019 Wins

I have one and use it all the time. Our nearest cinema is a Cineworld and they have an unlimited scheme which means that you can pay £13.50 per month and see as many films as you like, we usee it a lot. It's a fab, and now cheap, night out.0
