£370.29 cr
Options
I just today signed up for EDF's online service, and my current balance is listed as £449.29 cr, on my last bill £370.29 cr - we pay a DD of £79 for EDF's Standard tariff on gas/electricity after our original deal ended recently.
I'm strongly considering changing, since we're not locked in, but wanted to double check about our current balance:
I'm strongly considering changing, since we're not locked in, but wanted to double check about our current balance:
- 'cr' signifies we're in credit, i.e. we have 'overpaid' ~£400? Or that we are ~£400 'behind'?
- If we're in credit, what happens when we switch - do they write us a cheque?

CR does mean credit, its normal to be in credit at the beginning of the winter season, the am being a zero balance in the Spring.
You don't want to remain on standard tariffs any longer than necessary.
If you switch they will either refund directly to your bank account, or send you a cheque, sometime after the switch has gone through. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
