Shower Saint

Has anyone heard of this?
I received a postcard a couple of days ago saying I've requested (?) a free shower saint (looks like something you attach to your shower presumably to save water)
If I don't want it I have to ring a freephone number or send an email.
This is their website http://79.170.44.76/showersaint.com/
I'm always suspicious of anything which is unsolicited so i'd like to know if anyone else knows anything please

I got one about 6 months ago, apparently they save quite a bit of water especially if your using a bath mixer, however once installed theyre a !!!!!! to get off and can be a funny fit (water squirts out of it) wouldnt bother ringing wouldnt really bother using it unless your on a meter.0

I'm not even sure it would be of any use to us as we have a power shower.0

It's a huge scam and will knacker your shower.0

Partner received a card the other week saying he requested one.
He told me he hadn't and had no idea what it was so threw the card away.
He received the shower saint through the post this weekend.0 -
One assumes this is funded by their 'energy partners' as part of the energy saving the Govt has pushed them into (cavity wall / loft insulation etc).
As they're getting few takers on the water saving side ..... they're making it up and sending them out unsolicited. I had a similar unsolicited one from Eaga a couple of years ago.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
Can you explain why please? I've used one for 2 years+ and my shower still works fine?
NB Mine is the 'Eaga' version - just had the 'shower saint' one delivered and it looks exactly the same
Agreed. used one for over two years now. Simply adds air to the water thus reducing water consumption and gas/ electricity, without any drop in pressure0
