Tesco Price Match

Sorry, I really wasn't sure where to post this.

I am looking to buy a Camera. In Tesco, it costs £450. They claim they have the cheapest price, but on Amazon it is £420. Tesco are telling me that on Amazon it is £460- which is wrong.

Does Tesco do any 'Find it cheaper and we'll give you the difference' type thing?

  • I don't believe so, and even if they did, I doubt it would include online sales.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
  • just remember that by the time you've added postage you will be getting closer to £450 and if there's a problem its easier to take things back especially when your spending that amount of money:)

Amazon's postage is £30?!! Wow, that's gone up

OP - why not just buy from Amazon? Their CS is usually very good.

Postage on Amazon is free and I would argue that due to the DSR allowances, it's far easier to return an item to an online shop.

Not always. ;) But I agree in general with the rest of your post. Note though that returns under DSR are typically at the buyer's expense.
  • I can get 10% off one of the shops that sell it, and they sell it for 400, so if Tesco would price match the 400, i have a 15% voucher for tesco, so It would be cheaper to get it from Tesco if they price matched.

I think Tesco can deliver to store.

I very much doubt they will price match an then give you an additional 15% off.
  • Oh :( I just wasn't sure if it was some thing they offered as standard.
