Hi I had a TSB loan back in 1996 and paid it off around 2000 and I had PPI with the loan.
I shouldnt of been sold PPI because in my job I get full sick pay and at the time of the loan I was in the same job, I didnt know only up till now that thats classed as mis sold PPI and thats why ive successfully claimed against various credit card companies in the last 4 months.
Would I be able to claim or is it too late?

You may have grounds for complaint but, after all this time, unless you have evidence it is unlikely that you will be able to show the loan existed, let alone PPI.0

I knew it would be a big ask.
Would the bank keep the details in storage?
I had my main back account with them up until 2006.
Think I might have a dig in my file for any evidence.
Thanks0 -
Just got back from Lloyds and I must say im shocked because I got a helpful on the front desk.
I took one of my old bank statements and theY brought up my old accounts and the chap even told me my loan did have PPI on it for 5 years and he wished me goodluck and they should pay me back :rotfl:fingers crossed.
Next step filling in another form and the long long wait0 -
If you have the account number then they are likely to pay up. After the JR loss, most banks are not arguing much about PPI refunds.0
