What to do with left over stew?

I made a huge vat of beef stew and dumplings for dinner last night, unsuprisingly all the beef and dumplings went but I am left with a huge bowl of 'stew juice' and veg - any ideas what to do with it?! Thanks! x

Whizz it till it's smooth, add curry powder to taste, call it soup & serve it with crusty bread.

Definitely save it and portion up for the freezer to use at a later date for soup or as a base for another casserole0

That's what I do, just freeze and add a bit more. We had left over lamb stew Saturday, just added more potatoes!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Fry up some mince, when it's brown tip in the remains of the stew and cook through a bit...? Then turn it into a shepherds pie, or make some pastieswith it.

Coincidentally the night before last we had a vegetable stew, and there is over half of it left. I forgot to freeze it so its been in the fridge. should be fine for dinner tonight, thought I would add to it though. How does a tin of baked beans and some veggie frankfurters sound? (most of the liquid has soaked in)...or maybe quorn and condensed tomato soup? What do you reckon? And will the children like it second time around?0

I use leftover gravy or stew base with sausages. But what I want to know is...why so much gravy left over? Either you're making it too liquid or you're letting the family cherry-pick out the serving dish if they're leaving all the veg. Best to serve it all out yourself tbh.Val.0

I always make a stew last 2 days, I think it taste better 2nd day. I add more veg and/or potatoes, some cooked pulses (or tinned) and just thicken again if needed and dont forget the dumplings.

Blend up, add some spices, lentils, to make a warming soup. Serves with crusty bread, and/or croutons. Yummy!0
