I have been quoted a good car hire rate rate in Florida by Hertz. The details are at the bottom. Will I be asked to, or have to, take out any other insurances other than those quoted. I have heard horror stories of people getting to the check in desk and having to take out all sorts of supplementary insurance peremiums. I don't want to get stung.
the details:
228.68 GBP (base amount) is guaranteed and will be charged to your credit card when you reserve. Any additional amount is paid at the counter and is calculated based on current daily exchange rates.
The rate quoted, includes:
privilege fee if pickup is within 48 hours of flight arrival, loss damage waiver, tax, liability insurance supplement, vehicle license cost recovery:, rental surcharge:

looks like you will need to pay more try http://www.airline-network.co.uk/carhire/
and http://www.usrentacar.co.uk/
my choice would be dollar via one of the above sites as i did not even have to give dollar my credit card.
if you select gold cover on both sites there is nothing more to add you even get a full tank of fuel(you can take the car back empty not like with hertz.
hope this helps0
