Some tax credit queries

I currently work 27.5 hrs/week, term time only.

I'm about to start giving private tuition for 2 hours per week (I've already filled in the forms to declare self employment). Am I right in believing that tax credits round up, so this will move me into the 30 hour bracket? I will be spending at least an additional hour planning and marking anyway..presumably this counts?

Also, as this is essentially another term time occupation, if coaching isn't required during the holidays, or we draw up a term time contract, will this be treated the same as the term time hours I do already, or will I have to ring tax credits at the start and end of every holiday?

Thank you
