Dad for best man?

My other half is having his sister as his 'best woman' he went through the same dilema over whether it would be ok (or stupidly he worried it would look like he had 'no friends') but his sister was chuffed he'd asked and I think it's a lovely thing to do.
There is no point in asking a friend he is not that close to just for traditions sake
and I am sure his dad would be really happy.
Trying to be good and watch the pennies, but guilty of falling off the wagon every so often!

Well I had my two sons as joint best men at my wedding so it seems fine to me.
Oh and my daughter, and the new wifes daughter were bridesmaids, just to keep it in the family
