Car Insurance query

My car insurance is coming up for renewal just before Christmas. Last year was my first year for a long time of driving on my own insurance, prior to that it was my husband's company lease car. Unfortunately, in Jan 2010 I had a claim so could not get a no claim bonus. It was so annoying after 20 plus years of no accidents.
Anyway, such is life. I am hoping to get a year's no claim when I renew in December. The car is fully comp and it is kept off road and I only do a couple of thousand miles a year. Last year, because I also have my home insurance with the same company, I negotiated to pay £520 per anum. I am the only driver by the way.
My query is, can I expect a reasonable reduction with one year's no claims or has car insurance gone up by that much that it may well be that I have to pay more?

Mine has gone up these last two years, annoying as i'd only just started to get reasonable quotes after years of driving.
The comparison sites have given me by far the best quotes. You could then ring the best few to see if you can play them off against each other for further discounts.0 -
3 years ago i paid £300 its up soon and im wondering if it will be less than £600 this year.
No accidents, No claims....
Its getting silly. Everyone will need to have at least one accident with a claim for injury to pay next years premium.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
