If you found that interesting, try reading this:

That is very intresting read,so why are the adverts still on tv its purely wrong, just hope everyone that has lost there items somehow get there money back or item x
  • I have unfortunately used this site recently and I am still awaiting my money after 3 weeks.
I would advise anyone against using this site and to use Music Magpie as we had no problems in our dealings with them.
I usually check all reviews before using any site, but saw the advert and they gave me the best price for my items. I am sure there was a phone number originally on this site, but the 'chat' is permanently offline and a standard email is issued when you email customer services.
Would never use this site again and will learn from my mistakes. have now lost 50 cd/dvd/games and the quoted friv=ce of £42.38
  • BEWARE: CashBee are on ebay selling lots of these CDs DVD & games under username "trusted_media"
Their trading name is Mobvista Limited in York and is connected with MYTXT.CO.UK LIMITED - they are the same people doing scams, and have been fined in the past for a huge scam.
Look up username "trusted_media" on ebay you may see your items there!

Report to Trading Standards or Which? Consumers Association, whoever.

Isn't it fraud if they take your goods without paying for them, then sell them on?

What's more worrying is that once you purchase from them on ebay they send you a leaflet with what you've bought and the leaflet is promoting CashBee!
Unsuspecting ebay buyers then become drawn in to sells their goods to CashBee so the scam goes on...

    Dreadful
  • I used them for the first time about 3 or 4 month's ago. Didn't get paid for over a month and after a couple of emails I got paid. Decided to use them again recently and only because music magpie won't accept HD DVD's which is basically what I wanted to sell. I'm owed about £15 from cashbee currently, sent them the stuff about six weeks ago and they've acknowledge they've received and checked the stock so I should have been paid.

Sent a threatening email which worked last time, have to admit though this time around they've ignored my request and not contacted me for a couple of day's. Really starting to think I won't see this money but I'll keep giving them a hard time.

I used music magpie about 5 times and never had an issue with that company, my advice to anyone would be use a company like that over the likes of cashbee if you have a choice.

I have it on good authority that http://www.clear4cash.com is also run by the same swindlers that run Cashbee - so another one to be avoided.

If you go to that website and click "View Source" in your browser, about 4/5ths of the way down the site links to multiple images being used from another site 'ready2replay'.

Stick ready2replay.co.uk into a whois search and guess who comes up?

I sent my DVD's to them in January, they said I would have to pay £6:50 nd give bank details for the money to go in my account. I am sooooo glad I chose cheque!! Again saw an advert and went with them as they offered best money and they were one if the top sites on google!! Emailed 3 times now, not one reply. I sent off £65 worth and I am desperate for the money :(
Can I ask what you said to them in order for you to get yor money finally sent to you?? I wasn't aware of all the scams when I did it, feel so stupid now. Daren't tell my fella as he will go nuts! I noticed they have an address to complain too but no telephone number. I can't believe I fell for it!!
Any help or advice would be great! What did you threaten them with??
  • Hi all

I used Cashbee at the beginning of Feb as they offered a better price than M Magpie. I sent then 30 DVDs at a value of £94 After the two weeks I was still awaiting payment so a little late I checked and found out about their current form and peoples negative opinions of them. Over the course of a couple of weeks I sent off emails to them asking to clarify the position with my payment. But received nothing but the standard reply. To be honest I was expecting to write off the monies owed me as to try and get it would be nigh on impossible. So I sent a final email to them with an underlying subliminal psychotic unhinged edge to it about how I could not allow myself to be out of pocket to this scam. I received a reply to that email and a bank payment in full of the £94. I checked my account and yes there was the £94. Wether they are just slow at payment or my email persuaded them to cough up I have no idea, but once bitten twice shy. The problem is I still have nearly 100 DVD to sell. Mmmm might try music magpie again. Some money is better than no money. Best wish and good luck to all you still trying to get your money, maybe they are just bad payers, maybe a bit of pressure helped a little to speed up the process.

    Regards
  • Hi everyone, just to warn you Cashbee might be selling up. I was looking at reviews on the trustpilot website and one post says Cashbee's unit in Leeds is for sale by auction on March 29. The OP has provided links to rightmove and eddisons property auction sites showing the sale of Unit 14, Howley Park Business Village, Morley, Leeds LS27 0BZ.
Cashbee's website now has a message: "Cashbee is no longer accepting any more new or used items. Requests for any outstanding payments can be made to Cashbee, Unit 14, Howley Park Business Village, Morley, Leeds, LS27 0BZ"
i.e. the same address of the unit that's for sale next week!
