Benefits & Tax Credits

I have recently become the proud father of a baby boy, my wife is taking a year out on maternity leave and I would like advice on what benefits/credits she is entitled to. I pay 40% tax which I think has a bearing and I know that the whole system has and is constantly changing so any help would be much appreciated

Other than her maternity pay, there's child benefit and tax credits depending on your household income.0

You are a high rate tax payer so probably over the limit to claim tax credits, you will get £20 per week child benefit and of course your partners maternity pay0
