  • I have tried to stop smoking hundreds of times over the last 15/20 years (I started stupidly young :p ) my DH and I were getting through about 80 a day :eek:and at New Year we had the usual conversation about stopping this year and I just went along with the conversation knowing I wouldn't last more than my usual 2 hours without reaching for one but surprisingly we both stopped on the 3rd, used patches for about 4 days and that was that!:j

I don't think anyone will stop until the time is absolutley right for *them*.

I have watched 2 very close family members die from lung cancer and even that wasn't enough for me to stop, I think the more pressure you put on someone the harder it is

Anyway last count on money saved was just over £500 in 20 odd days  :D
