A modified version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is set to go on sale in Germany later this month.
Samsung has redesigned the model in order to satisfy a recent court ruling, which said the original model resembled the EU-registered design of the Apple's iPad.
The court banned sales of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales in Germany in September.
The changes made to the modified version of the Galaxy Tab include a metal frame around the edge of the device and repositioned speakers.
A spokesperson for the company told the BBC: "Samsung decided to introduce this new version in order to meet consumer demand for our innovative and distinctive products."
Although Apple hasn't made any comment about the revised model, experts say that the US firm may want to request a new injunction claiming the new device infringes the existing court order.
According to Florian Mueller, a patent consultant, it is unclear if Samsung has done enough to avoid a new ban as it is difficult to define how far design rights extend.
"A Community design is infringed only in all of its key characteristics are matched, or that is the overall impression it makes on an informed person," he wrote on his Foss Patents blog.
