in Credit cards
Hi,
During my regular check of my credit report I noticed that for a couple of months (July and September) my credit card shows a ? rather than a green tick, which I assume means a query of some sort. I noticed this before on the July statement and thought that maybe it would update itself when the next statement came in but August shows as a tick. The bill was definitely paid on time (and in fact in full). Do I need to query it or will it update itself correctly eventually? And if I do need to query it should I contact the credit card company or the CRA or both?
It doesn't really matter about the speed as I'm not planning to apply for anything soon, but I would rather this was sorted out before I needed it.
Thanks in advance for the help

You'd need to contact the credit card company if anyone.
Usually happens either at the start of a new credit agreement or if you had a nil balance and so paid nothing for a given month (on a credit card). Or if you pay the balance before the statement is generated.
Doesn't really affect your credit report - its not seen as a negative to anyone else looking at your file.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Thank you, I won't worry about it then I just wasn't sure what it means.0
