I am having a custom PC built.
SSD drive, 6gb ram, i core 5, HD graphics etc
I need to choose a monitor to go with. I am thinking 21-22 inch as I have a limited space to place the monitor in the desk I have. (Max height 46cm)
What lead is best to connect it with?
Thanks for your help:D

Depends on your video card, HDMI or DVI Might want one with VGA also.
TV/Monitor instead?
I connect several computers to one monitor so i need at least 2 DVI and 2 VGA inputs.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I use a BenQ G2222 HDL DVI 22" monitor (1920x1080 - H.39cm x W.51cm). Before this, I had a Dell 22" 1920x1080 monitor (about the same physical size). There was nothing wrong with the Dell when I stopped using it apart from the fact that it had a glossy screen. The computer is situated in a bright location and the reflections in the monitor screen were a real nuisance to the point of not being able to see the display properly sometimes. The BenQ has a matte screen so doesn't give this problem. It works very well too, even though it was only about half the price of the Dell.
Reflections in the screen is something that might not be thought about when choosing a monitor (I didn't with the Dell) but it can make a big difference depending on where the monitor is going to be situated.Error! - Keyboard not attached. Press any key to continue.0 -
HDMI or DVI digital ouputs will give a crisp image. VGA (aka D-sub) is the older, lower-quality analogue standard.0
