this one was posted a few days ago http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/ASUS_Eee_PC_1018P-BLK147S_1008136.html I've never used the company but it has some good reviews, but the netbook is absolutley fantastic for the price, having USB3, bluetooth, webcam and a card reader

Probably me who posted it - I bought one about a week ago.

It works as I expected and the company were fine to deal with.

There is a Birmingham landline on the website which is answered by people who work there.

The specs are as as good as you'll get for £200, and I like the long life battery which lasts all day.

You will need to install some security, I use Microsoft Security Essentials which is free, downloads quickly, and doesn't interfere with Windows.

There is little in the way of unwanted software pre-installed, although I evicted Trend Micro something-or-other.

If you wanted something a bit better, this Lenovo is worth thinking about: http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Lenovo_IdeaPad_S100_1101327.html

But the battery only lasts half as long as the Asus.

Size matters, this Lenovo has an 11.6" screen which would be much nicer to work on, but obviously not as portable:

ASUS are good little netbooks and TBH, they are the pioneers of this corner of the market.

Also remember that components are very limited and common across all netbooks - so an expensive one is often not a lot different from a cheapie.

However, the best thing you can do to any netbook is to put-in as much memory as it can handle - Generally 4GB for 64 bit and 2Gb for 32 bit machines. Both the cheaper models linked here have 1gb, which will run well enough but doubling that will produce a big improvement. Modules are easy to get on Ebay and you should be able to get a 2Gb one for £20 max.

This site is also very useful for drivers for all makes and free software that is far less resource-draining on your netbook than full-on PC apps:
