I have a 1994 vauxhall corsa, whats the cheapest way of getting breakdown cover? My insurance company is offering £44 for the year.
Thanks

Depends how often you breakdown and what cover you require.
AA, RAC, GreenFlag, AutoAid etc etc etc.... Cashback sites may get you a bargain but they dont always
pay out.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
£44 for silver-standard cover is a not bad price. I usually google for cheap car breakdown cover, which gives me a couple of comparison sites, and go from there. Always read the small print though, some companies will only cover you for a maximum number of call-outs per year etc etc.0

AA and RAC will usually only cover you with the personal cover options when the car is over 10 years old.0

Personal cover is definitely the way to go with older cars.0

£44 is a good price if it gives you the cover you need, or try "flux rescue" but be aware that that isn't a recovery so much as they take your car to a garage to get you going again.0

Best deal we got was with Asda for £5 per month (£60 a year) so yours isn't actually too bad in comparison at £44.0
