    Why didn't you?!

I could use a new one - my current one is plain black leather and it's looking a little worn around the edges (considering i've had it for at least 15 years and used it constantly it's lasted impressively well so i'm certainly not complaining). I was thinking about maybe getting a coloured suede one for a change and i do like purple. Just not sure how much abuse a suede one could take before it started looking tatty :/
  • I love mine. I tend to need it if I'm on the phone and trying to arrange things, and I find I tend to remember what I'm doing if I see it written in there. It's a green leather personal size one.

I'm going to use mine after reading all the posts. I used it a lot before I retired but am so busy now that it'll be very useful again.

Thats the thing with them though, the more worn in or tatty they are the better they look although I would be inclined to go for leather over suede.
Thank you for this site Martin

I bought mine a couple of years ago in the sale from the website. Ended up paying about £20 for the purple Adelphi one in the pocket size. I use it for everything: the coloured page markers I use to indicate important events, so I know what I have coming up in the year, post it notes all over the thing with to-do lists on them and a whole host of other things. It's so much easier to keep track of my shifts at work and when I can see the Mr and also my finances too!
