Mini credit cards?

Dear folks, mini credit cards have been out overseas in South East Asia and just recently introduced in Australia. They look like conventional credit cards but are much smaller in size.

I haven't noticed them introduced here but this may be because of the chip & pin technology which is being rolled out here and would probably interfere with the mini card's magnetic strip.

Interesting. But as far as I know, there's has been a mini card with chip & pin on it so probably the push for C&P to be put on cards here wouldn't make the mini card a possible option.
