Best football computer game for dongle

Hi I've got an acer aspire 5051 awxmi and I'm looking for the best computer games to buy and play on my laptop-I tried a 2010 football manager game but found it a bit slow and hard going -I don't really mind going retro and wondered what the zx spectrum emulators that you can buy are like I used to love playing football manager as a kid and was wondering how they would run on my computer
