When I go into the options, it says I need to upgrade my account....no thanks0

Its free to do so you must be doing something wrong unless it means upgrade the way yahoo looks, its the new interface.
Its not mail upgrades its Options, Pop Access and forwarding, save changes.0 -
I've upgraded which was worth it just to lose the ads. However you can use the following program;

Now this depends on whether you got your yahoo account through BT, if you did and you no longer use BT as your ISP then you will get Yahoo mail called basic mail and you will have to pay for an upgrade or just set up a new yahoo e-mail with a new name.0
