Expensive watch fails after 5 year

It may be that the rotor mechanism has become detached and the screw from that is fouling something ?
Anyway, it will be a lot cheaper to get a decent independent to have a look at it. This chap is highly recommended in the watch collectors world : http://www.rytetimewatchrepairs.co.uk/
If necessary, the entire movement looks to be available from Cousins (http://www.cousinsuk.com/searchresults.aspx?searchtext=2671) for 90 quid + VAT. I would hope that Ryte Time will quote you far less than Oris would as parts are available for the 2671 and it is a reasonably common movement.0
