Help choosing USB DVD or Blu Ray Player to play AVI's

Thanks to everyone who chipped in on this thread.
I bought a Sony S480 blu-ray player. I'm using the composite connection. Not only does it play avi's from a USB but i get some nice extras such as the ability to play mkv files, a network connection and access to BBC iPlayer:

The problem was that at even at £110 it was way over my original budget of £50. This was a tad too painful so I went bargain hunting on e-bay. This paid off and I ended up buying an "as new" model on ebay (top rated seller/99.9% feedback/called them first to check condition). It cost me £89.99. Result.
Thanks again all!Snootchie Bootchies!0
