Ford Zetec steering problems

I have a Ford Fiesta Zetec, not my fault, its all we could afford. Yesterday I went to pull away and the steering was stiff. You could only turn the steering wheel a quarter of a turn (if lucky) once the car was moving and you were driving normally the power steering kicked in and there were no problems. When it came to…

No its all about friction, At speed the tyres have little sideways friction so steering is easier.

Slightly stiff joint or even a broken spring cant affect the steering. Its only when you slow down the friction
becomes too much for your muscles.

Join a gym it maybe cheaper.

Unless something is seriously wrong and fails at speed, You may wish you had taken the paramedics course instead.
