this time there were unable to give me an immediate response and will write to me!
I got this as well, although my income and credit report look good.
I suspect there is some criteria of other that I don't meet for the automatic acceptance, although I don't know what it is.0 -
Yes. I have three with Barclaycard and four until I recently closed one.0

Whilst it is possible to have more than one, as a result of previous circumstances and changes, it is not possible to open more than one Barclaycard branded card simultaneously as a new customer.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

Yes, they did reduce the credit limit on my Visa which transferred to the Mastercard. Obviously they didn't close the Visa, because I specifically asked them if I could have another card to separate personal/business expenditure!
When I applied for the Barclaycard OnePulse (Visa) card, I was really expecting it to replace the Visa card, but didn't, they just sent it to me, along with a healthy credit limit - and this didn't impact the credit limit on the existing Barclaycard Visa I already had.0 -
I have somehow ended up with 3 Barclays credit cards, despite never having applied for one!
Morgan Stanley, Goldfish and Egg all selling out to them.
I must get round to killing off a couple of these cards.0 -
I've had three Barclaycards for over 10 years and have just been sent two more since the rebranding of Egg......so its definitely possible to have more than one Barclaycard. I had a Visa and asked for a Mastercard, and was given one, then was given a Premier Infinite Card. Now have the two rebranded Egg cards in addition.0

Ah, I see....Receive 11% cashback, up to a maximum of £100, on all spend made until 31st Dec 2011 when you transfer a balance to your new Barclaycard Platinum credit card
I assumed it meant a cashback for ongoing spend all year round. I have the Barclaycard World Mastercard (formerly Egg) that pays 1% cashback, up to £200, every year and you don't have to transfer a balance to get it. I either thought the OP was referring to this, or I was serisouly missing out on something!!0 -
I have a standard no-benefits Barclaycard. I want to get a Barclaycard from Amazon with 0% purchase and transfer. Am I best off cancelling my current card and applying, or trying to get them to upgrade my existing card? If I cancel then try and get a new one, are they likely to refuse me?0
