    Afternoon all.

Hope those in Scotland have weathered the erm...weather...

So sorry to hear what happened with you ToNik I hope they get it resolved soon for you, and its a terrible shame your friends have walked away from you, I hope nothing like that ever happens to them as they will no doubt feel awful and ashamed, and also I think Daisy Duck's friend. *hugs*

Bit annoyed with Mr T, got some of the outdoor icicle lights as were reduced, said 8meters so I thought brilliant will be just right for where I want them, got brother over and paid him £10 to put them up (him and gf both just lost their jobs so thought it would help out) He comes in not long after and said they not very long, went outside and out of 8m, I reckon about only 3m is lights the other 5 is the wire to plug them in! I was tempted to tell him to take them down and I would take them back but I would have felt awful, contemplating ringing up to complain!

Oh a and RE: Foxes biscuits, last year before I was MSE savvy I bought them at £5 or whatever they were :o
Our tradition is posh biscuits in our bedroom on christmas morning with a cuppa, pleased to say they were free this year though.

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Ooh I hope so. Not only is money a bit tight but I get a lovely warm feeling when I make a good saving :-)

My local store is H3mel H3mpst3ad. It's just had a big refurb. I managed to find the price check machine but it wasnt working. I asked a SA and she said that it wasnt connected yet, and should be in a few weeks.

    :-)

Hi Cocabear, welcome to the thread,

it's probably best not to reveal the full name of your store so that the local staff can't put a kybosh on any of your finds too soon!!:T

DOH just looked at the box, and under care instructions it says plug to first bulb is 6m so overall you get 2m lights  Still very annoyed with it.

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)
