The wind is up here in the West Country, rain is battering the house, then it goes completely, then comes back worse. Got a longish drive up to Birmingham tomorrow, really don't want the wind and rain then, or on Sunday on my way back!

My fault I suppose I didn't think they would be 1p as they hadn't been reduced at all in my store until now (I've been checking)

  • Yeah, apparently a wall in the docks have also fallen down. No injuries.
Sirens have been going here since early morning, but then, the kids have been off school and couped up in the house all day :rotfl:

Heard about that one too. The wind is certainly getting worse here.
  • Have you ever noticed that a womans "I'll be ready in 5 minutes" and a mans "I'll be home in 5 minutes" are exactly the same?

I have Fibromyalga and know all about fibro fog and fatigue. Hope you feel better soon.
I have Menieres Disease and brain fog is one of my symptoms when I'm having a dizzy day. I also get what they call "supermarket syndrome", where the high shelving and bright lights set the vertigo off. I can't do supermarkets when they are really busy and I always have to have a trolley for support...even if I only needed one thing!
Part of my vestibular rehab therapy is to try to tolerate them for longer....retraining my brain to compensate for the damage to my ears. So it gives me the perfect excuse to drag my other half around Tesco's as it's "good for me!". I can't go in M&S though....don't know what type of lighting they have in there but my eyes can't cope with it and I've keeled over a couple of times in there.....Not a good look!!

HAd a semi successful day today. Managed to get more of the Tesco Light Choices Caramella Ice Cream 900ml for 51p, the last packet of Harry's Nuts for 1p and thanks to the OP about the Detol hand thingy used my voucher in Superdrug and got it for 1.95 (though the SA took an age to read all the fine print on the voucher - glad I had printed off the whole page and given it to her!)

Im sorry I dont post much, I just never have anything interesting to say! :o
