My sister once put some shoes on that had a slug inside it. It must have come indoors on her shoe then crawled into the end.
Even worse than the sensation of squishing it with your toe was the fact that it STAINED her toe nail

I stepped barefoot on a slug about a month ago, it is a sensation I will not forget for a long time!

Have a little voucher booklet courtesy of Mr T, very late postman today! Mr T wants me to buy his own chocolate not CDM!! and I have to spend £4 on nuts to get a £1 off!!! Would have put a few smileys in but page is going waay to big when I try to post reply not sure why as this page looks fine???

  • Just heard on the news that the Xmas lights in Aberdeen's main road have been blown down - nobody hurt thankfully. I remember a few years ago Hogmanay got cancelled in George Square cos the council was afraid the stage/speakerpoles might fall over .

Not looking forward to the amount of hammering that'll be done after this has blown over (pardon the pun)- judging by the state of the neighbours' fences it's gonna be a cacophany! :rotfl:

Also, there is a fab book that cured me of my chronic long term RSI called the Mindbody Prescription by Dr John Sarno. Worth a read for ME/Fibro sufferers, I have heard it can really help with this too. Best of all was it cost a fraction of the price of a physio/chiro/pilates session, I've saved a fortune and never felt better. Put it this way, I was not able to use the computer AT ALL without pain, as some may know I'm on the damn thing morning, noon and night now! HTH someone.

  • That will be what the sirens I head earlier are for...

Yeah, apparently a wall in the docks have also fallen down. No injuries.
Sirens have been going here since early morning, but then, the kids have been off school and couped up in the house all day :rotfl:
