Hi everyone, just doing a quick catch up. Popped out looking for some cheap duplo but no luck.
Did anyone manage some of the glade candles on dtd? I bought some when they were b1g2f and the christmassey one is lush! Would definately recommend itSmelling very festive in my house, must get the decorations up soon.
I did get one of my DDs a big A4 lined notebook, pink with a fluffy whit kitten on for 60p - or 60-something, SEL was £3 with a * in the corner and I spotted some SAs carrying some so gave it a sly scan lol! Might do for a stocking filler for someone - hth0 -
Thanks for taking the time to reply. My dd loves the chicken and sweetcorn, can't believe I missed it.
Strangely enough, that's the one people seemed to dislike the most. I don't suppose you are anywhere near Aberdeen as I think I have far too many of that kind and you would be welcome to a couple of trays of them.0 -

It might sound all nice and christmassy, but when you're snowed in for 2, 3 months solid it really does get to you. You have to turn off the main lane and go down a little lane to mums house. Sometimes the farmer further down will clear the main lane, and he did a couple of times last year. Mum tried to dig out the little lane and slipped and hurt her shoulder and she's been suffering all year because of it. Now she's been told she has to have an operation to fix the damage. There is only really so much stocking up mum can do, she has plenty of central heating oil and firewood but things like fresh milk and bread is the problem. Sis has a chest freezer in the shed so plenty of frozen stuff.
If you still like the sound of being snowed in mum has the house up for sale.;);)0 -

Wrongful credit paid to T by customer (check)
T's representative (manager) has full knowledge of this (check)
Fails to automatically redress customer's overpayment (check)
Tesco, guilty as charged!:D
Yep spot on!
Think too about the deliberate way Tesco and indeed other supermarkets confuse us with their odd pricing and comparison labelling. That in itself is bordeline deception too! The TV programme the other night highlighted the fact too. It would just be unethical if the pack didn't blatantly say 'larger pack better value' when it definitely is not.
Its been argued many times (in quite high profile articles too) that Tesco make more from leaving out of date SEL's in place than they give back in DTD for overchargers based on the same OOD SEL's.
The negative publicity from even trying to prosecute someone for deliberately gaining DTD would prohibit Tesco doing it. Tampering with barcodes is just theft and will result in a free ride in a paddy wagon! lol0 -

Last time I was in there there was a promotion on Russian Standard vodka, £10 for a 70cl bottle and I went in 3 days before the promo ended and asked for 6 bottles, he rang them through the till and they went through at £10 then manually adjusted the price to £15.99 a bottle:eek: asked what he was playing at and him speaking very little English "promotion over, office say promotion over". So I told him to get stuffed, went across town to another Londis where they quite happily sold me 6 bottles at £10 a bottle. I couldn't help sticking my head through the door of the shop on my way back, holding the carrier bags up in the air and shouting "£10 over in Rosemount" whilst muttering "ya robbin !!!!!!" as I went out the door and I haven't been back since. That's about a year ago.
i dont blame you !!! must of though buying 6 you were loaded and wouldnt care but it crap they try and get away with ripping people off !!!
night night all logging off now as need to apply for my baby to start school next year....sad timescant believe shes grown up so quickly ! viewed school yesterday and she would quite happily of stayed there and let me and oh go home......i am proud but where is my baby gone !!

Night night...hope the bad weather expected up North doesnt cause anyone any problems. My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
