Quick q, I got the light strike guns on dtd for a gift, now ive just found out they have them already, can i take it back to tesco for an exchange? I know in theory I got them foc so its cheeky but otherwise its a gift down iyswimbargainhuntergill wrote: »The receipt was marked and i took the red sticker off already with price as its wrapped in loft. damn being organised is not always good eh, last time I wrap so early
to be honest it depends on who serves you...I've got DTD on a set of phones (was actually paid £10 to take them away)...and then saw a better set so took my DTD ones back and got £150 refund...my receipt was marked as DTD but i just said they were a present for mum and she'd already bought herself a set!
Also with the lightstrikes..I got these DTD, receipt was marked..gave them my nephew but he's only 4 and didnt realise they were a bit too grown up for him..so my sis took the reciept in and exchanged them for something else!hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
I returned toys that I had prevously exchanged for something ( therefore had no original receipt ) and these were thomas items which could have been bought anywhere and they took them back no problem and just told me to pick something else !0
