  • I have had to send the other half to B&Q for a shed shelving unit to put in the conservatory as we have no cupboard space left. It will only be for cleaning stuff and tins, all other stuff in paper or plastic is up high and out of the way (dont want to be feeding the critters) They can and will chew through plastic.

Are the lollies and wine gums still working we forgot to check earlier, when I was there so might have to nip back. And are the BOGOF's on mcvities digestives and cappucinos working or not?

not been able to get capuccino's anywhere in derbyshire and cs/ho were a fat lot of good.

got grand total of :eek: 6 boxes in the end after they told me to go back and they would honour it - who how generous, told them it probably cosgt me more in petrol.

    :mad::mad::mad::mad:

I noticed all the labels removed on capuccino in my store too, but got my first "on purpose" dtd today with the fudge.
They wer in boxes marked 3 for £2 but the box had been split and folded so you couldnt see it. Stood it up again and went straight over to customer service.
She returned with the offending piece of cardboard, duly ripped from the box to stop any more games and gave me dtd....she did try to say she had given me the cash when she hadn't even opened the till but soon stopped that nonsense and handed it over.!!!
With the extra I went back and got some celebrations, happy days.
  • Tesco Finest free range chicken half price @ £2.29 per KG and stickered as so.
SEL stating half price offer that is OOD and full priced non stickered items in fridge, mixed with stickered...DTD+ free chickens.

May be store specific, but the non stickered ones has a shorter shelf life, so get looking people.

  • Hiya,

Im off for an early trip to Mr T's in the morning...does anyone know how I find out what offers are ending tonight?? so I can look out for any ood sel's. Somone mentioned you can find them on the website but have tried.

    Thanks
  • Just to clarify and make sure I'm doing this correct

This JTD thingie it works like this for example:
034057.jpg = £7.50 @tesco but £5.15 @Asda so Tesco should refund me £2.35 when I input my receipt details on the pricechecker at Tesco.com.

Yeah in theory that's right, you just gotta watch out for stuff that may be cheaper in Tesco though as it will reduce your JTD, IYSWIM.

I find myself doing two shops when I'm in, I put the stuff through that I know is cheaper in Asda in one transaction and then put my other stuff through next to maximise my JTD.

    Hope that makes sense :)

Caz. Zombie apocalypse. I'm heading to yours!

Feel free. Everyone (except the ex) is welcome. I even have a stash of booze but it's location is being kept secret!

Thank you. I did have a rant typed up but I'm holding my head up high instead.

So please tell me there will be more price flop books before Xmas. Need to gather more for the zombie apocolypse but I'm going to need a DTD on storage boxes. Haven't heard it in the last week or so but the mouse was back in the ceiling and there are far too many goodies for me to risk losing.

P.S. speaking of zombies, anyone else watching The Walking Dead?

I've been watching it, don't understand why they have broken the season in to two though. :(
